AFRICAN FILM SELECTION
The Best of Cape Town International Animation Festival 2023 African Film Selection showcases films from across South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria.
In this collection our African creators explore a journey through Oakland city USA, reflect on the destruction caused by domestic violence, dealing with grief, a kidnapping mystery, the inner workings of the human soul, comedic events around newlyweds and parenting, as well as the effects of the pandemic and an inspiring poem about a wildlife cameraman.
With a mixture of 2D traditional animation, stop frame and 3D animation, this inspiring collection showcases an eclectic range of creative African works.
