RICK VILLENEUVE

Canadian Rick Villeneuve has been in the animation industry for over four decades and has storyboarded and animated on a great variety of productions for television and film. His feature film work includes “Heavy Metal”, “Ferngully, The Last Rainforest”, “The Miracle Maker”, “The Princess and the Goblin”, “Otherworld”, “Toto Sapore” ,“Ultra Marines – A Warhammer 40K Movie”, “Ethel and Ernest” and “The Breadwinner”. His television work includes the “Father Christmas” special, “Beatrix Potter” series, “Old Testament Stories”, “Animated Tales of the World”, “Jojo and Gran Gran”, “Yukee” and numerous titles, promos and commercials.

Rick has also illustrated the children’s book “The Fairy Cow” published in Tokyo, Japan in 2006. In 2010 he achieved an MA in Animation at the University of South Wales. He has
conducted guest speaking and has provided animation training at various educational institutions throughout the UK.

Rick continues to be active in the animation industry.
