The Cardiff Animation Weekender 2025 will take place over the weekend of 17–18 May as a celebration of animated filmmaking and retro animation nostalgia. We will be hosting a hybrid festival across multiple venues in Cardiff and online 17 May – 1 June.

 

Cardiff Animation Weekender presents a vibrant programme of cult favourites and new titles, celebrating animation memories and childhood nostalgia. Including: creative workshops, feature films, an exhibition, short film programmes, filmmaker Q&As and fun social events.
